Denver Botanic Gardens - Chatfield Farms

Chatfield Farms
Habitat

Chatfield Farms is a 750-acre natural area and working farm located along the banks of Deer Creek in southern Jefferson County. The Gardens' Research and Conservation team is working to restore a section of the creek to recreate a thriving habitat.

A trap camera captures the activities of coyotes, crows, beavers, bobcats, raccoons, skunks and more.

Big changes at the restoration site will happen slowly, so visitor snapshots shared here via Twitter are a valuable tool to help track the transformation. Be sure to snap your own during your visit to Chatfield Farms.
