When is Mount Goliath open?
The summit is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. To find out if it is open, please contact the Idaho Springs Visitor Center at 303-567-4382.

What is the weather like on Mount Goliath?
Live weather updates are not available for Mount Goliath, but it is near Idaho Springs. However, due to the mountain's altitude and exposure, Mount Goliath may be significantly colder and windier than Idaho Springs. Be prepared for extreme and wintery weather, even during the summer.

Do I have to pay to visit?
Visitors to Mount Goliath and Mount Evans must purchase a recreation pass. Passes are $15 per vehicle and can be purchased at the Mount Evans Welcome Station or at self-serve pay stations.
